Privacy Policy

Balance Cleaner is an independent iOS app that helps you spend down a leftover Apple ID balance so you can change your App Store region. The app is built to collect as little as possible — in practice, nothing.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Balance Cleaner has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email, Apple ID credentials, contacts, location, or any other personal information. The one thing that does leave your device is described in section 4: a single anonymous record when you complete a purchase, carrying no identifier and traceable to no one.

2. Data stored on your device

Any settings or preferences you choose are stored locally on your device only, using the system's standard local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes this data.

3. Purchases and payments

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details, card information, or Apple ID. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

4. No tracking or advertising

The app contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking, and no fingerprinting. We do not build profiles of users, and we have nothing to share or sell.

When you complete an in-app purchase — and only then — the app sends one record to a server we run ourselves: the app’s display language at that moment, which pack you bought, the App Store region, currency and price you were shown, and which screen the purchase came from. That record contains no identifier of any kind — no device ID, no advertising ID, no account or installation ID. Nothing links one purchase to another, or any purchase to you. We use it for one purpose: to see which languages and regions the app is bought in. Nothing is sent when you browse the app, open the widget, or receive a free daily wish.

5. Apple ID balance feature

Any guidance the app provides about checking or clearing your Apple ID balance is informational only. The app does not access your Apple account — you perform those actions yourself within Apple's own apps and settings.

6. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

7. Third parties

Apple delivers the app and processes App Store purchases. The server receiving the anonymous records described in section 4 is our own, hosted on Cloudflare, which acts solely as our hosting provider. No data is shared with any other third party, and nothing is ever sold.
