Balance Cleaner spends a leftover Apple ID or gift card balance down to exactly zero, using a combination of small in-app purchases matched to your amount. Below are the questions that come up most. If yours isn't here, email us — a real person answers.

I bought a pack but didn't get my wishes

Wishes are granted the moment Apple confirms the purchase. If the payment needed approval — for example Ask to Buy on a child account — it completes only after someone approves it, which can be minutes or hours later. Reopen the app once that happens.

If a purchase went through on your Apple receipt but the wishes still aren't there, email us the date and amount and we'll sort it out.

My balance won't go all the way to zero

Every in-app purchase has to land on one of Apple's fixed price points, and the cheapest one has a floor. If what remains on your balance is smaller than the cheapest pack, that remainder cannot be spent on its own — no app can do it, it's a limit of the App Store itself.

When that happens the app offers a combined payment: it puts the rest of your balance toward one more pack and charges only the difference to your card, which brings the balance to zero. If you'd rather not pay the difference, you can ask Apple Support to zero out the remainder for you — the app shows you the text to send and a link to the form.

Why did my wishes disappear the next day?

Wishes are for the day you get them. You receive one free wish every day, and a purchased pack adds its wishes to that same day. This is stated on each pack before you buy.

The widget isn't showing anything new

iOS decides when to refresh widgets and it is not immediate — a few hours is normal. The widget also follows your phone's language, so changing the system language changes the wishes it shows.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, and only Apple can issue a refund. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple ID used for the purchase. We never receive or handle payment details.

Changing your App Store country

Apple requires a zero balance before you can change region, which is what this app is for. You also need to cancel any active subscriptions first, and Apple may limit how often you switch. The app shows the exact steps on its final screen.

Does the app see my Apple ID or my balance?

No. The app cannot read your Apple account, your balance, or your purchase history. You enter the amount yourself, and the app only calculates which combination of packs adds up to it. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what does and doesn't leave your device.
